Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, where to begin. Well about a week ago my dad, whom which i do not talk to much, contacted me and asked me if i would be interested in going to an Art show in NYC. I agreed and really had no idea what i was getting into. Well it just so happened that this art show was the NYC Art expo. and it was incredible, such a sensory overload. We made our way to the section with all the animation work. Chuck Jones stuff was to the left of me, Clampett studio to the right, Cartoon network down from there. I had no idea what to look at first it was so overwhelming. I ended up just stumbling around for awhile in disbelief at over all the amazing stuff i was seeing. I ended up getting to talk to Ruth Clampett which was amazing. We were talking about Cole black and the seven dwarves, which is reguarded by many to be one of the best cartoons ever made, and i asked her if it would ever get released possibly on one of the gold collections, which to my dismay, she said would not be likely. Eventually the conversation drifted to John K. and she mentioned how much of a part he was in keeping her fathers name alive. She also mentioned they had some of John's drawing with them from the unaired Spike episodes, Altruists, Naked beach Frenzy, and Stimpy's Pregnant. I was floored. I sat there for about an hour and looked through all these original drawings from these episodes. I asked if they were for sale and she said yes. Now the question was how do i choose from all these amazing drawings, each one was equally as awesome and flowing with personality and expression. I narrowed it down to about 8 and chose from there. I bought three of them. The really awesome part is they are taking them back to LA to have John K. personally sign them and then they are being sent to me, how freaking cool is that!? When i get them i will take pics and post them. For now you can check out screen caps from these episodes at this link apc.thetma.com/ . The three drawing i bought are from the episode entitled Altruists. I could have easily bought more and still may since they are supposed to call me this week to let me know when they will be signed and shipped. Well i just wanted to share that with everyone since i was so blown away by it and inspired by it. After all that we ended up going to Atlantic city, where i learned how to play black jack and that gambling is evil. Thats it for now though. Justin.

i'm happy that you had a lot of fun
to be honest I thought you would visit a lame museum with some artist who draws kids with big eyes.
I guess the media would rather cover spectical artist rather then something we all love like Chuck Jones of Bob Clampett?
